Landscape Service & History

Rohsler's Allendale Nursery has offered a complete landscape and design service to its customers for over 95 years. Our services include plant installation, seeding, sodding, railroad tie walls, brick and stone dry patios and the renovation of old existing landscapes as well. We offer free cost estimates and a design or sketch based on site analysis of the customers property.

Rohsler's Allendale Nursery guarantees nursery stock that it has installed for one full year. We also guarantee that the materials used in construction work is of the finest quality. However, the nursery cannot be responsible for natural shifting or settling of patios and walls that can occur over the course of time.

Finally, we feel that our customers have the advantage of visiting the nursery and visually inspecting the majority of material to be used in their landscape. This is a unique service that Rohsler's Allendale Nursery offers to its customers which most landscape contractors cannot. In this way, we can insure customer satisfaction and alleviate any misunderstanding in respect to material quality and/or size.

Tom Wiss

A Landscape Designer with Rohsler's Allendale Nursery since 2000 with 24 years of horticultural experience before that in his own Nursery, Garden Center, Landscape and Florist business that he started with his wife in 1976 in Dingman's Ferry, Pennsylvania. Educated in ornamental horticulture, greenhouse production and propagation, landscape design and business administration from Penn State, Rutgers and University of Connecticut, he has won numerous awards for his landscapes and Pennsylvania Master Gardener of the Year in 1992.
