As the leaves begin to change color and the air turns crisp here in New Jersey, it’s time for Rohsler’s old-fashioned hayrides to start up again!

Beginning on Saturday, September 28th through Sunday, October 27th, we offer a delightful hayride experience that is perfect for families, friends, school groups, workgroups, Scout troops, and others looking for a fun and memorable fall outing. Public hayrides are offered on the weekends, and on Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples’ Day (Monday, October 14th) from 10:00 am – 4:30 pm. For weekday group rides and parties, contact us for details.

What to Enjoy on Your Hayride

pumpkin and apple cider

Step up into one of our tractor-drawn hay wagons and take this opportunity to create lasting memories to come! Our hayrides take you on a scenic journey through our 16-acre historic nursery and horse farm, where you’ll be surrounded by vibrant autumn foliage and festive decorations.

In addition to the hayride, children can visit our barnyard animals, including our goats and chickens. (Keep an eye out for our newest goat, Hazel!) Families will also enjoy our kid’s maze and carnival games, like cornhole and ring toss.

Hayrides are $10 per person (age 2+). Included with each hayride is a free sugar pumpkin and a cup of apple cider. When you arrive, head to the register to purchase your ticket. Interested in booking a group ride? Call 201-327-3156 for more details.

And while you’re at Rohsler’s, be sure to visit our pumpkin patch loaded with pumpkins of all sizes and gourds, the Halloween gift shop, and our nursery yard filled with homegrown mums, ornamental cabbage and kale, and colorful fall perennials!
