This field trip will thrill your inner cultural and horticultural spirit.

Sailors’ Snug Harbor is an 83-acre, 180 year-old, historic campus with a mix of arts (Newhouse Center for Contemporary Art and the Noble Maritime Art), culture, and horticulture. It was founded through a bequest after the death of Revolutionary War soldier and ship master Captain Robert Richard Randall. There are also twenty

gardens within the botanical garden. Liberty Hall Museum stretches back more than 200 years. This National Historic Site was the home of Robert Livingston, signer of the Declaration of Independence. The Carriage House, formal and informal border garden, the Rose Garden and other garden areas make this site something special.
