You’ve done your homework and planted your new tree or shrub in an appropriate location in your yard. Now what?

Tree & Shrub Pruning

Pruning, the removal of certain parts of a tree or shrub, is a time-honored gardening technique with long-term benefits.

Rohsler’s Tree & Shrub Guarantee

All regularly priced trees and shrubs are fully Guaranteed for 30 days from the original date purchased. Rohsler’s Allendale Nursery offers a premier planting service that includes delivery, planting, starter fertilizer, organic soil amendment, and an Extended One Year Guarantee.

We accept tree and shrub returns within the guarantee period provided you have YOUR ORIGINAL RECEIPT. You must also have the plant with you at the time of return. The tree or shrub has to have been purchased from Rohsler’s and must be either dead or failing to thrive. A valid phone number or email is also required for all returns for the tree and shrub guarantee at Rohsler’s Nursery.

Refund Conditions

  1. Non-saleable, planted or dead plants are eligible for a Rohsler’s MERCHANDISE CREDIT in the amount of the original purchase price
  2. This guarantee is a one-time only plant replacement guarantee. Replacement plants are not warrantied (i.e. plants purchased using a merchandise credit)
  3. If the plant is unavailable within Rohsler’s inventory at the time of return, Rohsler’s will issue a STORE CREDIT for the original purchase price of the plant
  4. Re-saleable live plants that have not been planted and are still in their original container and condition are eligible for a refund using the payment method originally tendered
  5. Re-saleable plants must be returned within 7 days from date of purchase in order to receive a refund
  6. Return of purchases made by check will be refunded by company check after a seven (7) day period has passed since the original purchase, assuring that the purchase check has cleared the bank
  7. All items are warrantied for the original purchase price only
  8. Warranties begin on the original date of the purchase
  9. No part of this guarantee is enforceable unless payment has been made in full at time of purchase or within 30 days after the date of the invoice on House Accounts
  10. Interest will be charged on all overdue accounts
  11. We reserve the right to limit or refuse refunds
  12. Providing false customer information will void all warranties
  13. Rohsler’s reserves the right to void any/all warranty coverage

Guarantee is not valid if any of the following conditions occur:

  • Plant material purchased at a discount
  • Losses caused by an act of God; weather conditions, including killing frost, severe storms, and/or drought; water restrictions by state or local authorities; animal and/or insect damage
  • Losses due to damage by neglect or physical abuse, including improper planting, improper planting site, improper watering, improper mulching, lack of appropriate after care, and animal trampling/foraging

Additionally, there is no guarantee on any of the following items:

  • Annuals
  • Perennials
  • Vegetables
  • Herbs
  • Bulbs
  • Seeds
  • Aquatic plants
  • Sod
  • Bonsai
  • Tropicals
  • Houseplants
  • Greenhouse plants
  • Seasonal plants
  • Plants installed in above-ground containers
  • Live Christmas trees
